Died and gone to Shoe Heaven

My visit to the Level 2 Shoe Gallery at Selfridges deserves a separate posting.... And when you have a blog address like mine, it would be gross misjustice to not share, right?
The entrance to the Shoe Gallery is marked with a huge strappy stiletto with flashing lights - oh, it is surely the pearly gates to shoe heaven!
Inside this Shoe Gallery, the world's most beautiful and expensive shoes are on display like they were Picassos or Monets. There are separate sections for Jimmys, Pradas, Dior, Gucci, Miu Miu, and of course the it-shoe of the moment and my personal favourite, those red-soled Christian Louboutins.
I think this 'Gallery' is up there with the best shoe stores around the world - Shoes 10022 (Saks 5th Ave NYC), On Pedder in HK and the Tokyo Isetan store. What do you shoe fans think of the Shoe Gallery? And where do you rate as your most amazing shoe experience?
